I decided to be a pediatrician from an early age. I was treated and counseled by a very good pediatrician, very pleasant as a person and as a specialist. I remember her as long as I remember myself. Although she is quite elderly now, she still consults. She is a very worthy person. Whatever problems I had, she always dealt with them. Fortunately, all my childhood illnesses are gone thanks to her.
So, remembering her high professionalism, her approach to me and my parents, very human and very attentive, I have always tried and will try in my work to remember her example and imitate it. Including, as I already understand it, that the goal of her work was to cure the patient. The goal was not just to have the patient come in for a consultation and prescribe treatment, but to treat so that the patient would be healthy.

No matter what problem the patient comes to me with, my task is to understand the problem in great detail from the very beginning, to ask the parents and the child, and to examine them. My first consultations take quite a long time and I explain everything to the parents; at the second consultation, the parents already understand everything when they come to me. And at the third consultation, the parents come already experienced. They perform everything, they understand what this or that medicine is for.
I always tell parents that the problems with which they come to us are usually complex problems, that is, they have many components.
