Anxiety disorders are a group of mental states that are accompanied by an unreasonable feeling of fear and anxiety. As a rule, worries have no logical substantiation and are far-fetched. In most cases, anxiety is accompanied by bodily symptoms: muscle cramps, a feeling of a lump in the throat, palpitations, shortness of breath, trembling in the body.
Anxiety disorders are among the most common among neurotic conditions. They lend themselves well to correction, but lack of timely treatment and adequate treatment often leads to serious consequences, up to and including disability.
