In some situations, an attending physician may need to consult with colleagues in the same or a different area of medicine when managing a patient. This may occur when the physician doubts the diagnosis or when the patient has complex comorbidities.
In such a case, in terms of patient care, a doctor from our clinic or another clinic of the world can convene a Concilium of specialists (multidisciplinary team (MDT)).
A Concilium is a face-to-face or distance work of several specialists, often of different specializations, to solve complex issues related to the interpretation of test results, establishment of a diagnosis, and choice of treatment tactics in complicated cases.
The VIVERE Clinic consultations are attended by highly qualified physicians who give their professional opinion. Expert collaborative work allows us to objectively evaluate the results of patient examinations, establish a diagnosis, and determine the scope and methods of necessary treatment of underlying and concomitant pathology. Complicated clinical cases, which do not have unambiguous solutions, are submitted to the council.
At VIVERE, we are multidisciplinary specialists with extensive experience. That's why you can get expert counseling from your physician and other specialists in our clinic.
